Obina Hops, LLC began in 2019. Located in Obina, Kofu City, a luscious mountain area rich in soil, water and sunshine, we currently grow 21 varieties of hops.

We brewed our first Obina beer in July, 2022. With the concept of using nothing but the highest quality ingredients, we want to take craft-brewing a new level centered around enhanced flavor and freshness.

How to Get to Obina Brewing

Bus/Taxi/Car from Kofu Station
TAXI: It takes about 15 minutes by taxi from north JR Kofu Station.
BUS: From the Kofu Station North Bus Terminal 1 there is a bus that leaves for Kami-Obina. The brewery is a 5-minute walk from the "Shimo-Obina" bus stop. It only leaves a couple times a day so check beforehand
CAR: No drinking and driving! Have a designated driver or use a daiko driving service if you plan to drink. Free parking is available but Obina Brewing is not responsible for any accidents that occur in the parking lot.

On Saturdays & Sundays there is free parking available near the brewery with enough room for about 30 vehicles.
