アーティストについて ・ About the Artist:

Jacob Koller - 年米国アリゾナ州・フェニックス生まれ。 高校に入学までにアリゾナ・ヤマハ ・ ピアノ・コンクールを含む 10 以上のクラシック ・ ピアノコンクールで優勝する。 2007 年には、「COLE PORTER JAZZ PIANO FELLOWSHIP」のファイナリストの一人に選ばれる。 2009 年来日後、 TOKU のバックなど、 ジャズ ・ ピアニストとして活躍。 同年、 星や月にちなんだ名曲を集めた 『STARS』、 2010 年 4 月にはジャジーにショパンをプレイしてみせた 「ショパンに恋して」 がスマッシュ ・ ヒット。 2015 年、 人気TV 番組の “ピアノ王決定戦” で優勝。 2023 年 6月現在、YouTubeのJacob Koller/The Mad Arrangerチャンネ

Jacob Koller was born in Phoenix, Arizona, USA. By the time he entered high school, he had won more than 10 classical piano competitions, including the Arizona Yamaha Piano Competition. In 2007, he was selected as a finalist for the "Cole Porter Jazz Piano Fellowship."

After moving to Japan in 2009, he became active as a jazz pianist, performing as a backing musician for artists like TOKU. That same year, he released STARS, an album featuring famous songs inspired by stars and the moon, followed by Falling in Love with Chopin in April 2010, which became a smash hit with jazzy renditions of Chopin's works.

In 2015, he won the popular TV program Piano King Championship. As of June 2023, his YouTube channel Jacob Koller / The Mad Arranger surpassed 310,000 subscribers, while his Jacob Koller Japan channel exceeded 330,000 subscribers.
